Spyro: A Hero's Tail

The fifth major console version of the little purple dragon has arrived. Spyro returns this time developed by the company behind such games as Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Crash Bash. Eurocom. They bring with them a fresh feel to the series that had been nearly completely ruined by the efforts of the last company in Enter the Dragonfly.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail is released on all three major consoles, the PS2, GameCube and Xbox. Featuring five playable characters including one brand new character, Blink the mole.

Once again the Dragon Realms are in danger, this time from a fellow dragon. Red, the evil dragon, a fallen dragon elder has placed many dark gems all over the realms in order to gain control over them. Their powers are seeping into the world and corrupting it. It's up to Spyro and friends to save the world again!

not to be rude, but am I the only one who hates this game? IMO, it doesn't have the same feeling that the first three spyros (Enter The Dragonfly even did a better job matching the Spyro elements) and the characters voices don't even sound the same as they used to, for examples, Spyro sounds like he's got lung cancer, Hunter sounds like he's on weed, Professor sounds like he aged 20 years older, Moneybags sounds like the crab from Little Mermaid, Sgt. James Bird sounds like Nigel Thornberry, and Zoe sounds like she is 2 years old. Out of every other character, Sparx sounds the closest to what he did, but when he talks, his voice is it ever annoying. Everyone also got terrible makeovers too.

It was very hard the first 3 tries, until, I learned that you could block reds snowballs with your wing shiled. :L Then it became a breeze.

Red in Icy Wilderness isn't THAT hard.
I beat him in just two tries :/

They never ment to add voices (wich sucks)
but if they did the game problably would of tooken longer, you know how many lines Spyro says in the entire game...? o_o

ahhh.... i remember in 2006... when i made my mom run to all of the stores just to find this game for PS2.... ahhh memories.... although we only found it for gamecube D:
